Calling all donations!
Solarity has teamed up with the Selah Naches Food Bank during the month of March to collect desperately-needed non-perishable food items and toiletries. Every item donated helps ease the lives of those facing food insecurity in our community.
Let’s help make a difference this month by showering the Selah Food Bank with donations to restock their shelves so they can continue to provide meals and other necessities for local families. Now through March 29, we'll be collecting donations at our Selah branch. The food bank is looking for donations of:
Non-food items:
- Dental hygiene items like toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss
- Soap such as bar soap, liquid hand soap, shower gel, etc.
- Shower supplies
- Feminine hygiene products
- Baby diapers
- “Depends” for adults
- Hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies
Non-perishable food items (including pet food):
- Baking supplies, jello and pudding
- Condiments
- Boxed meals such as Hamburger Helper, Rice-a-Roni and Mac & Cheese
- Ramen, spaghetti or other types of noodles
- Crackers or chips
- Jelly and honey
- Canned goods
- Pet supplies including dry and wet food for cats and dogs
The food bank is also accepting financial donations. You can donate easily on their website selahnachesfoodbank.org, drop off a check at their location at 810 N. Park Drive (behind the Grocery Outlet Food Store), or mail your donation to:
Selah Naches Food Bank, P.O. Box 1029, Selah, WA 98942
Bring your donations to the Selah branch, now through March 29.
Any size donation is appreciated! Thank you for your help to keep our communities fed and cared for.
